Seeking an experienced and enthusiastic biotech recruiter/senior recruiter!

Combination of Tech, pharma, and drug discovery company. 4 drugs in the clinic. Multiple drugs in the dev pipeline. 340 employees. Talent team has 9 employees. Aggressive diversity goals and effectively relocating a lot of people to Salt Lake City.

Job Location: ON-SITE OR REMOTE . The office is in Salt Lake City, UT. Remote applicants should be prepared to spend 2 weeks on site ramping up, and then returning every 6 weeks or so for an office visit.
Anticipated duration: Full-time permanent role . The client will also consider temp-to-perm, but their preference is for straight-permanent hiring.
Reporting to: Recruiting Manager

The Team You'll Join
They meet weekly (virtually) as an entire TA team, once weekly as just recruiters; they do a Sourcing Jam event weekly where recruiters focus on specific reqs that need to be pipelined. They're heavy users of Slack for collaboration. They ensure that remote recruiters aren't alone on an island! Those who work in-office are only there 40% of the time. Office culture has a real sense of community around humanitarian support. Pre-pandemic, they did fundraising and volunteering for various causes. Patients of rare or undiagnosed diseases came in to meet with the team to tell their stories. You really feel your impact as a recruiter here! There are also many social groups - climbing, skiing, board games, crafts, foodies, all organized via Slack. They're flying the whole TA team in November for face-to-face team interactions and off-site activities. 2 days off-site at Park City.

Job Responsibilities
Boldly recruit top talent - Employ creative and effective methods for recruiting the top individuals in their fields and then ensure successful conversion from prospect to employee.
Engage with candidates across broad scientific disciplines - Describe how they can do the best work of their lives at a mission-driven company with an exceptional culture.
Provide guidance and candidate pipeline support to internal hiring managers - Operate as a trusted partner as you lead a swift, consistent, and effective hiring process. Your efforts will help ensure that we have the people we need when we need them.
ATS: Greenhouse
Requisition load : 15 (3-5 being high priority), maybe up to 20 at high times but we're focused on growing our TA team so that the average req load stays at 15 max whenever possible.
Types of roles: translational research, biologists, scientists/sr scientists, medicinal chemistry, possibly biochemistry, and maybe development.
Tools: LI Recruiter, SeekOut for tech & scientific recruiting, TalentWall for tech stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience recruiting professional-level employees IN THE LIFE SCIENCE INDUSTRY (agency-only experience is fine)
Ability to either 1) work on-site in Salt Lake City (we have an excellent relocation package), or 2) spend the initial ramp-up (approx 2 weeks) on-site and then return for on-site visits every 6 weeks
A Bachelor's Degree (required)
Full-cycle recruiting experience and a history of sourcing candidates by using all available tools (job postings, social media, job boards, employee referrals, recruiting agency partners, and more).
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter is required

A bias for action, critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to quickly pivot between diverse disciplines, while managing multiple complex positions at once
A passion and commitment to building a diverse company and promoting an equitable and inclusive culture
Strong project/candidate pipeline management skills and the ability to influence and support hiring managers in their efforts to hire high-caliber candidates on swift hiring timelines.
