We’re seeking a Hybrid Associate Veterinarian / Medical Director to join our client's thriving, modern small animal hospital in St. Louis, MO. This unique role offers greater variety, engagement, and autonomy, combining clinical excellence with operational leadership in a highly respected, community-focused practice. About the Hospital Well established 2-doctor team has built outstanding relationships within the local community and continues to grow. You’ll be joining a collaborative, experienced group in a well-equipped, full-service general practice dedicated to high-quality small animal care, with the optional opportunity to see exotics. ? Modern, State-of-the-Art Equipment Includes: Digital radiography Dental radiography Ultrasound In-house diagnostic laboratory Dedicated surgical suite With a strong 3:1 veterinary technician-to-doctor ratio, you can focus on medicine and surgery, not administrative tasks or routine technical services. Clinical Responsibilities: Managing a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries Performing routine and advanced soft tissue procedures Opportunity to work with exotics (optional) Delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care Leadership Responsibilities Supporting hospital operations and team development Driving clinical standards and mentoring team members Partnering with leadership to grow services and community engagement Helping shape practice culture and long-term strategy This is an ideal opportunity for a confident veterinarian ready to broaden their impact beyond clinical work alone.
