Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Orthopedics for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Orthopedics - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 26 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Orthopedic /n/n Job Details: /n • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission form) /n• 26-week assignment length /n• Every other weekend required /n• No call requirements /n• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 30-bed orthopedic unit /n• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed /n• 2 years orthopedic experience required (inpatient only) /n• Current RN license required (Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure) /n• Required certifications: BLS from AHA /n• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA /n• Use EPIC electronic medical records system /n• Dress code: Black scrubs only /n• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation /n• Provide direct patient care for post-trauma, surgical, and medical comorbidity patients /n• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation /n• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments /n• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
