ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotating start times as needed • No weekends, no call, and no holiday requirements • Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract • 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; CCRN and TNCC preferred • Critical care experience required for high acuity PACU area • Level I Trauma Center experience required • Must be comfortable with dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, and care of ventilated patients • Experience required with drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia • Must pass Relias EKG exam • Float within scope to PACU or PreOp units as needed • Care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations • Daily census of 70-90 patients across 38 patient bays • Recover patients from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant surgeries • Does not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants • Night shift personnel must learn preop patient workup procedures • Navy blue scrubs required • EPIC charting system experience preferred • Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility Facility: This is a major academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center with 1,273 staffed beds, featuring Magnet designation and teaching hospital status.
