ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 48 weekly guaranteed hours • Weekend hours as needed with expectation of every other full weekend • Float requirements as needed/customary upon request • 2 years of Telemetry experience required • Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS • Patient ratio typically 4-6:1 • Care for 50% medical/50% telemetry adult patients only • Use EPIC electronic medical records system • Standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit • Dress code requires black scrubs • Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 • Contract duration 13-26 weeks with option for 36 or 48 hours per week • Up to 5 days time off automatically approved per 13-week period • Expected to work at least one major winter holiday • Perform direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the community for over 150 years and is nationally recognized for its compassionate medical and specialty care.
