Mechanical Design Engineer for the Product Design team to create
new membrane products and interfacing production equipment. The

from concept to commercializationApplying analytical and critical
thinking skills to produce creative solutions for technical

product improvements.About the Position: The Product Design
Engineer is part of the Product Design Team in the Product and
Applications Development organization within Membrane Solutions.
They will be an individual contributor to drive and support new
product design and development of membrane separators. They will
work closely with the Product Development and Product Strategy
teams to develop, execute, and communicate product development
project plans; the Quality and Procurement teams to maintain
product certifications, ensure supplier parts meet the standards to
which they were designed, and improve existing product designs; and
the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Development teams to
design equipment that supports product fabrication, product
testing, and laboratory testing.Position Responsibilities
Include:Maintaining workplace and laboratory safety in complete
alignment with our Total Safety PhilosophyPreparing engineering
calculations, CAD models and drawings, and specificationsEmploying
internal and external prototyping to develop / improve product
offerings and equipment for production of new and existing
products.Planning, executing, and documenting prototype-, product-,
and material testing.Supporting new product development programs
with well-defined milestones and accountabilities based on market
and product development goals.Collaborating with Corporate
Technology / Engineering organizations to enhance synergies in
design and material selection, testing, and
certification.Identifying opportunities for improvement in existing
products and develop plans to address these
opportunities.Participating in design reviewsSupporting IP creation
for new productsMaintaining knowledge of standards and product
certification requirementsQualifications:We are seeking
results-oriented candidates with the following qualifications:B.S.
degree in Mechanical Engineering, M.S. preferred.5+ years of
experience in product or equipment designSolidworks knowledge for
designing, tolerancing, and creating drawings.Solidworks PDM and
FEA experienceSolid understanding of ASME pressure vessel code;
preferably with working knowledge in Codeware COMPRESSInternational
pressure vessel code experience, like PED and CRNDesign for Six
Sigma experience strongly desiredAbility to work with Technology,
Engineering, Operations, and Commercial organizations
worldwide.Communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work
with and influence people with positivity from all cultures and at
all organizational levels.Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO regulations
is helpful.Ability to thrive in an environment of change.Ability to
