Description: This position is responsible for prospecting and closing business inside the Intalere Solutions portfolio of services and programs. The Solutions portfolio focuses on people, process and technology enabled Solutions and Services primarily geared toward acute care health systems, large non-acute care providers, and other prospective clients as may be assigned. The successful candidate will also be responsible for transitioning the client to the most appropriate field service team for delivery of the solution. The intent is to cultivate appropriate business relationships to promote all Intalere solutions, both consulting and program services, which empower clients to achieve cost reduction goals, enhance revenue, and improve patient outcomes. Essential Job Duties: Within a specified territory responsibilities include identification of prospective clients, sales and closure of Intalere solutions to new non-member, and named member acute care health systems and large non-acute providers: Develop and maintain a regional territory plan for the assigned territory Build strategic pipeline of prospects. Maintain accurate records of all activities related to sales in the Intalere CRM Coordinate data analysis as required to support the value to be received by the Client. Participate or coordinate the development of proposals, responses to RFPs and ultimately the development of both the contractual agreement and/or the required Statements of Work for delivery to the prospective Client. Lead and coordinate discussions with prospective clients and internal Intalere knowledge experts to provide product knowledge, strategic input, etc. Assist with development of yearly business plan for targeting and recruiting new clients. Identify and sell to high-value targets as it relates to Solutions portfolio opportunities including direct sales, strategic partnerships, and consulting. Responsible for turn-over of account to appropriate Intalere department for delivery of solution and/or implementation/execution. Provide input to the Sales Executive leadership: Participate in the strategic planning process of the sales team. Implement organizational strategies. Monitor, evaluate, and communicate progress and provide status reports to VP, Business Development. Submit annual expense budget projections to VP, Business Development for inclusion in the department annual budgeting process. Adhere to Intalere policies and procedures. Manage confidential information with regular exercise of independent judgment. Participate as an active member on various Intalere committees/work groups as requested. Provide assistance as requested to the Sales Executive Leadership team: Review reports prepared for prospective clients for accuracy. Identify areas for potential growth. . Requirements: Required Qualifications: Documented track record of sales success as an individual contributor and/or sales manager in the healthcare space of at least 7 years. Knowledge of assigned territory, including current connections and prior selling experience with decision making executives within the assigned territory. A minimum of 7 years in the sale of healthcare software, consulting and services to hospitals, acute care health systems and large non-acute care providers. Knowledge of GPO operations and end-to-end supply chain is a plus. Prior utilization of a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Knowledge of all functions within the healthcare setting (provider, supplier, and distributor) Ability to work with multi-facility systems Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and make independent judgments Skilled at solving problems Ability to perform high level analysis Skilled at developing interpersonal relationships Skilled communicator Skilled negotiator Knowledge and ability to utilize computer programs including (but not limited to) Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MicroSoft Dynamics CRM, and Definitive Healthcare. Knowledge and direct experience in selling software and services solutions across the continuum of care. Bachelors Degree in business administration, marketing, or its equivalent. Masters Degree is considered a plus. Desired Qualifications: Use of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus Knowledge of current health care environment including trends and upcoming government regulations.
