We provide a competitive advantage for the company through excellence in fundamentals, integrated partnerships, and our talented and engaged team members.This role is part of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team, which is part of the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team. ITAM is responsible for managing assets - physical, virtual, IP - within the overall Wells Fargo environment, and for ensuring the proper support attributes are documented to enable improved cyber security defense and general ability to support availability. In line with this, the ITAM team leads several efforts to validate assets deployed in the WF environment are identified in an inventory system of record (SOR).This position will be responsible to help develop and implement the processes to validate that URLs that are discovered in support of Wells Fargo applications - both internal and external-facing - are properly captured in the Wells Fargo URL SOR, and to remediate those that are discovered and are not properly documented. This resource will participate in these daily activities and will be responsible to work with other team members - including our own BSC resources, asset management team, application SMEs that own the URLs, and security and technology teams - to remediate items that are not validated in the SOR. To successfully complete remediation, the resource will participate, and in some cases will lead, in the following minimum activities: Reviewing a daily report of discrepancies - ie, those items not matched to a SOR record Researching the details to help determine application ownership of each discrepancy record Engaging SMEs as needed to obtain assistance to identify URL ownership Assigning items to appropriate application teams, and driving resolution with those teams Tracking progress and escalation as needed. Documenting and maintaining playbooks to help drive process improvement Helping to identify, establish, measure and report on SLAs and metrics associated with performanceIn addition, the resource may be required to interface with application governance team to ensure that for new applications being deployed, or new websites being deployed to existing applications (sunrise), that the appropriate relationships and documentation exist in the SOR. Assist with mentoring other ITAM URL Validation team staff members as needed.Will need strong communication skills to support requirements to engage and inform the appropriate stakeholders from the business technology teams, asset management teams, application teams and others as required. Need strong organizational skills and ability to work well with others, including those who may not be co-located, and to drive process improvement. Ideal candidate would have strong analytical skills, as the ability to review large quantities of data, and perform analysis to help guide assignment to appropriate applications teams will be critical. Ability to create reporting in standard Microsoft tools - SQL, Access, Excel, Word, PPT - would also be beneficial. This is a newly developed team and will receive a high level of visibility initially due to the criticality of this effort to support that corporate cyber security defense requirements can be met.
