Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Gathers relevant and factual information, exploiting imagery, creating intelligence products, and baselines from a number of sources and platforms in support of national security goals, concerns, and strategies. Provides topographic/terrain analysis, geospatial analysis, imagery ground station analysis to operators, requirements managers, and mission manager. Monitors worldwide actions and events and relays this information to the DIA, DoD, national and international intelligence publications and organizations. Analyzes aerial and ground permanent record imagery developed by a photographic and electronic means, and plans and recommends the use of all ground and aerial sensor systems for surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Utilizes principles and techniques of photogrammetry and employs electronic, mechanical, and optical devices to obtain information from permanent record images. Determines target coordinates for accurate location of imagery analysis findings. Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Fuses data with other sources (SIGINT, HUMINT, and IMINT) to generate actionable intelligence. Imagery analysis experience in the Intelligence Community at the national level. Strong knowledge of the intelligence collection process to include NGA's relationships with other IC Agencies. Knowledge of multi-spectral imagery exploitation and terrorism-associated issues. Knowledge of soft copy exploitation functionalities. In-depth knowledge of the following systems and software programs: RemoteView, IEC, NES, and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing. Responsibilities include the ability to: --- Work in a very dynamic and demanding work environment --- Brief senior staff officers to effect decisions --- Work independently with minimal or no oversight --- Work cooperatively as a team member and provide guidance to NGA analysts to build effective customer relationships Attended either the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or equivalent. Demonstrated good oral and written communications skills. Qualifications Journeyman - Full-performance level, expected to work with minimal oversight. Personnel considered competent in their trade with 3 years of greater but less than 10 years of experience. A bachelors degree in a field related to the support service may count for up to four years of experience. Journeyman should be fully capable of meeting most services without direction and expected to assist apprentice level personnel in learning their trade. Government and/or contractor personnel may perform quality control assurance checks on their work but should not find significant errors. Journeyman level are expected to collaborate with government and contractor personnel in NGA and the IC in the performance of services. Such collaboration should provide accurate technical information that contributes to analytical synergy that is better than the sum of the individual parts and expected to regularly provide division level support and may periodically be called upon to provide support at the office level.
