is seeking Navigation Lab Electrical Systems Engineer - Flight Sim
Labs, in Berkeley, MO. Position Responsibilities:
- Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and
electrical system requirements.
- Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational
and functional requirements.
- Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system
integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over
the entire product lifecycle.
- Researches specific technology advances for potential
application to company business needs.This position is expected to
be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work
onsite at one of the listed location options. This position
requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship
Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the
past 24 months is considered active)
- Active Secret ClearanceBasic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science.
- Level 2: 2+ years of experience leading or working similar
projects or teams with a Bachelor's OR work-related experience with
a Masters
- Experience with electrical power systems
- Experience with electrical/electronic schematics and
drawings
- Experience with testing Inertial Navigation Systems Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with instrumentation and/or data acquisition
systems
- Experience handling Electrostatic Sensitive Devices (ESD)
hardware and its related processes
- Able to work independently and with a cross-functional
team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies and
engineering processes quickly
- Willing to work in a Lab environment with mechanical tools and
equipment
- Hands on project/lab experience with physical hardware
- Mechanically inclinedTypical Education/Experience: Level 2:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)
and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although
not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position

Summary pay range:Level 2: $79,900 - $108,100Applications for this
