Job Description Are you looking for your next GEOINT challenge?
BAE Systems is seeking a mid-level geospatial intelligence analyst
to provide geodetic/geodesy support to a key Intelligence Community
customer. As a geospatial intelligence analyst, you will provide
input to revisions of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and
other documentation related to Gravity Data Processing. As an
analytic leader for a team focused on gravity data production, you
will plan and execute production, identify discrepancies in gravity
data, and assist in developing training material.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in the application of
quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
- 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in the knowledge of
scientific analysis, statistical analysis, or data analytics.
- 1-3 demonstrated years' experience in the knowledge and
application of geology and geophysics concepts.
- Demonstrate knowledge of scientific systems (Physics,
Geophysics, Geology, Geosciences).
- Basic understanding of the gravitational influence on:
- Navigation and guidance systems
- Trajectory modeling
- Circular Error Product (CEP)Preferred Education, Experience, &
Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mathematical, Statistical, or
Scientific Software: MATLAB, Mathematica, Surfer, Fledermaus, STK,
ENVI, etc
- Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams to
develop solutions to problems and deliver those solutions.
- Advanced coursework: Cale Ill, Advanced Cale, Linear Algebra,
Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations,
Signal Processing, Numerical Analysis, Complex Variables,
Mathematical Modellng, Geodesy, 300+ level Statistics, Vector
Analysis, Numerical Methods, Fourier Analysis, Potential
Theory.
- Basic proficiency in Fortran and/or Matlab programming
language
- Basic proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, and
C.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $83900 - $142600Please
note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
