Job DescriptionThe primary goal of the eDiscovery Analyst role is to support the technical aspects of the Legal Hold and eDiscovery processes. This position serves as the technical resource for the systems used to identify, preserve and collect custodial data used in litigation and compliance matters.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage the custodian email journaling process ensuring email data is preserved in accordance with a Legal HoldAct as liaison with counsel, paralegals, IT, and eDiscovery vendors regarding technical aspects of eDiscoveryConsult/advise attorneys and investigators on how to best use litigation support technologiesProvide clear direction and advice to IT professionals to ensure that key objectives for eDiscovery and litigation are metTracks and controls data collection activityEnsure structured and unstructured data is preserved appropriatelyResearch and collect custodial data as requiredServe as a liaison to structured data owners (systems) as to where data resides and how it is preservedServe as the administrator for the Nuix/Glass and Proofpoint data collections toolsAssist in coordinating and advising all eDiscovery partners on preferred methods and best practices of organizing and automating eDiscovery practices in litigation and compliance mattersKeep abreast of current best-practices, emerging technologies and solutions in the context of eDiscovery and Legal HoldDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders with all internal and external parties involvedProactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the eDiscovery servicesTroubleshoot, research, diagnose, and resolve reported incidents and issuesPerforms other duties as requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeLitigation practice experienceAble to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy, professionalism and client-service orientationThorough knowledge of software used in the electronic discovery process.Experience with Relativity preferredDetailed knowledge of litigation and related discovery processesExcellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and vendorsCritical thinking and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to effectively present information to managementAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureAbility to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job dutiesWorking knowledge of enterprise-class production IT systems such as Exchange email, ERP systems, and SharePointExperience with programming, scripting or SQL/database experienceRequired EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceProject Management or eDiscovery certificate preferredRequired Related Work Experience and Number of YearseDiscovery experience - 2+Project management experience - 2+WORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment LLS345 2024-34099 2024
