  We are seeking a Cloud Architect with senior level expertise to join our Bunge Cloud Platform team. At Bunge, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud revolution. You'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Bunge's cloud infrastructure on leading public cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions Essential Functions
  • Design and Develop: Architect and design cloud solutions based on business requirements, leveraging best practices, cloud-native services, and infrastructure as code that push the envelop for high-impact workloads use cases across the company.
  • Cloud Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud adoption strategies, migration plans, and cloud-native application designs.
  • Infrastructure Management: Implement and manage cloud resources, virtual networks, storage, compute instances, and other infrastructure components.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security, compliance, and data privacy of cloud solutions through robust architecture and configuration.
  • Automation: Implement automation processes for provisioning, configuration management, and deployment to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure, applications, and services to meet performance and scalability requirements.
  • Cost Management: Recommend and implement cost-effective solutions, monitor cloud resource consumption, and optimize spending.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud components into the overall technology ecosystem.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, diagrams, and operational guidelines.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing to continuously improve the organization's cloud capabilities. Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with major public cloud services, with preference to GCP service s. Bonus points, if you've obtained Google Cloud Professional certifications.

    • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing public cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). -
    • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including microservices, containers, serverless, and hybrid cloud.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management.'
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
    • Experience with security practices in cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • You can communicate complex, technical concepts to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear concise language.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
