What you'll do :
The Network Engineering and Architecture department is responsible
for the design, standardization, and project delivery of highly
available and high performing campus, data center, cloud, and
branch networks, in support of Edward Jones Clients, Financial
Advisors, and Home-Office Associates.
As a Network Documentation and Operations Analyst you will ensure
that technology and configuration standards, project documentation
and diagrams, the CMDB and department artifacts comply to the
required regulatory and governance policies. Additional
responsibilities of this role require a keen understanding of the
legal records retention policy and the ability to execute regular
compliance audits to ensure accuracy and completeness. Familiarity
with network management systems and documentation repositories to
facilitate accurate record keeping will be beneficial. You will be
expected to collaborate with leaders and associates across Network
Engineering and Operations, Legal, Compliance, Security, Command
Center and other divisions within the firm to gather information
and insights.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of
:Lead the response to compliance and audit requests.Conduct audits
and assessments of records to identify risks, gaps, and
opportunities for improvement.Proactively inform and maintain
communications on documentation best practices, emerging trends in
compliance, regulations, information governance.Provide training to
associates on policies and procedures.What experience you need :
Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience 5+ years'
experience in records management, compliance or related roles
including : 3+ years' experience working in network documentation
or network operationsExperience working with Network management
systems using inventory, auditing, and configuration compliance
functionsProject management skills with the ability to prioritize
tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
What could set you apart : Strong understanding of legal and
regulatory requirements related to records retention and
disposition in the financial industryExperience with any/all of the
following:Establishing network and systems standards and
processesITSM tools such as ServiceNow particularly with CMDB
maintenance.Version control and collaboration tools such as
GitHub.Administration of SharePoint sites.
