You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, replacing, and constructing facility components including equipment, systems, and structures in and around Checkerboard Square using trade skills required of a journeyman electrician.Install standard electrical equipment and devices according to the National Electrical Code to include proper sizing of power supplies, conduit, wire, hangers, boxes, fittings, overcurrent protection, distribution panels, motor control centers, disconnect switches according to their NEMA classification or ratingRead and interpret electrical drawings, including floor plans, power plans, ladder diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and power distribution one-line diagramsWork with 120v/240v single, 480v three phase power distribution up to 13.8KVAUnderstands the operation Power Generators, UPS systems, and associated switch gearProgram, wire, and troubleshoot VFD sPLC s function, wiring, and I/O troubleshootingPerform work on AC Motors
300 HP and below, 4-20ma control circuits, and ethernet communicationRequirementsHigh school Diploma or GED equivalentMust have a Valid Driver s License3+ years of experience with repairs, replacements, installations, and maintenance of facility electrical componentsOtherElectrician certificate is preferredWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is preferredMust be willing to work Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am
4:00pm and Saturday from 6:00am
