What you will do


  • You will maintain services during deployment and in production by measuring and monitoring key performance and service level indicators including availability, latency, and overall system health
  • You will automate system scalability and continually work to improve system resiliency, performance and efficiency
  • You will practice sustainable incident response as part of an on-call rotation and through blameless postmortems
  • You will remediate tasks within corrective action plan via sustainable, preventative, and automated measures whenever possible
  • You will always consider a 'security first' approach and maintain an acceptable and compliant security posture

    What experience you need

    • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding, or equivalent job experience required
    • 0-1 years of experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives
    • 0-1 years of experience in developing and/or administering software in public cloud
    • Experience in languages such as Terraform, Shell scripting, Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, Perl, JavaScript and/or node.js
    • Detailed knowledge of modern software development life cycles including CI / CD pipelines
    • Source code control management systems (e.g. Git, Subversion) and build tools like Maven, Nexus etc
    • Knowledge in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software
    • You have an understanding of the key aspects of finance especially as related to Technology
    • You can write quality code that is robust and easy to maintain

      • Knowledge of software development best practices such as TDD (e.g. JUnit), automated testing (e.g. Gauge, Cucumber, FitNesse), continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, GoCD)
      • Linux command line and shell scripting languages
      • Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Postgres)
