Job Description:
Responsibilities & Duties:Maintain inventories weekly, monthly,
or annually and run a series of inventory reports that are provided
to Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams.This position
requires skills and experience that are focused on inventory
management for production materials and finished goods across
multiple storage locations.Execute a cycle counting program and
institute an effective program.Maintain an accurate, consistent
inventory reporting structure. Identify heavy and low turn
inventory items, report to the sales, scheduling, and financial
teams.Regulate inventory adjustments and define reason codes behind
adjustments for accountability tracking.Manages inventories at
local off-site facilities, identifying discrepancies and providing
accurate reporting to purchasing and distribution.Manages all
ingredients to proper rotation in the production
process.Collaborate with warehouse team and Customer Service to
plan inventory locations.Review orders prior to ship and ensure
that the warehouses to move the old age inventory first.Conform to
all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
-Communicate with production teams on proper processes in moving
materials in and out of production. Works with Supervisors to
ensure accountability on all shifts.This position will be expected
to rotate between all production shifts to ensure that processes
are being properly followed and documented in accordance with
GMP's.Other duties as assignedJob Requirements:High school diploma
or equivalent required.3 or more years of inventory experience in a
manufacturing environment is required.2 or more years of experience
working in a food and beverage environment is preferred.Shift
flexibility as needed is required.Key CompetenciesStrong
mathematical and counting skills.Strong organizational and
communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to make
decisions based on the information you have available.Ability to
learn and utilize ERP system.Ability to react to situations in a
timely manner and be flexible with people and operational
assetsWorking knowledge of Outlook, ExcelWriting and speaking in
English is required. -
