Job Summary
As a CBRE Field Technician / Party Chief, you will use Robotic
Total Stations and RTK GPS to calculate points and monuments up to
ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operates and maintain all technical survey equipment assigned by
the corporation.
Performs assigned ALTA surveys to establish lines and grades at
commercial sites.
Performs surveys for property boundaries.
Provides topographic surveys of assigned areas.
Performs and documents all calculations in support of survey
reports.
Prepares time sheets and expense reports.
Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to
two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
1+ year of ALTA or Boundary experience preferred
Certificates and/or Licenses
Valid driver's license

Total stations
GPS
Data collectors
Metal detectors
General surveying equipment
Carlson software
Interpersonal Abilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to
speak before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to address practical problems and handle a mix of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and/or Abilities
Drone pilot license preferred
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (10 or above)
products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Scope of Responsibility

policies to achieve set results and timelines. Errors in judgment
may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
