-Day in the Life of a Med Tech

Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records
Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications
May record and restock medications and medical supply inventories on the nursing care units
Maintain current knowledge of and adherence to all applicable policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors and management

Requirements:

Valid state license(s)
Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
At least one year experience providing care and services in long term care preferred
