We are looking for a dedicated Courier II like you to be a part of
our team.Job Summary and QualificationsPrimary responsibility will
be to deliver at Hospital campus and inside Hospital locations.
Secondary will be responsible for operating ROi commercial vehicles
with a GVW up to 10,000lbs. This includes the safe loading,
delivery, and pick-up of various items to include, but not limited
to supplies, mail, small pieces of equipment, lab specimens, food,
and pharmacy. The position is responsible for representing ROi in a
professional manner by providing the safe and secure delivery of
supplies and goods to/from ROi customers. All work should be
performed consistent with the goals of the ROi customer community
being served, the philosophy of the ROi, the Code of Professional
and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct. Performs
related duties as assigned in a manner consistent with our mission,
values, and the Service Standards.Job Description Responsibilities:
- Responsible for pick-up and delivery of all items required at
the time of service. All packages with tracking labels must be
scanned by the ROi designated tracking system to the department or
next step in the delivery process.
- Responsible for utilizing daily equipment in a safe & damage
free manner, (scanning hand held, electric pallet jack,
two-wheeler, vehicle, etc. When required, equipment should be
logged in and out daily.
- Conducts daily check in staging area for product that needs to
go out for delivery that day. For example, driver mail box, route
racks and refrigerator. Per specifications provided by ROi
Transportation Leadership, the driver may be required to inspect
product before delivery. All product must be delivered same day.
What qualifications you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred
- Licensure: Current driver license in state of residence.
(Missouri-Class E, Illinois-Class D, Arkansas-Class C,
Oklahoma-Class D, Kansas Class C).
- Missouri Pharmacy Board Technician Licensure after
- Preferred Experience: Three to five years of supply delivery
- Other: Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Basic
math, reading and computer skills required. Good organizational,
human relations and communications skills are required. A
Department of Motor Vehicles driving background check for the state
the driver is operating in is required prior to employment.
Cooperation with providing the proper information is required for
employment. Must have a good driving record.
