If the answer is YES please read on...As an Industrial Electrician, you will support production operations by performing electrical repair and electrical maintenance machinery and equipment. Responsible for maintaining a safe work area, safe work practices, for high quality, for high productivity, for integrity, and for compliance with Company instructions and directives, including the Companys prohibition against discrimination and harassment.This is an hourly paid, non-exempt, unionized position, under the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO collective bargaining unit. • Trouble shoots, repairs and maintains industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as CNC Machines, equipment, presses, lathes, mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and other production machines.
• Responsible for electrical aspects of repair.
• Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs the electrical aspect of industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions
• Installs equipment using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance. Job Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair; Will also consider Associate degree from an accredited trade/technical school or program.
  • 2 years Experience using a volt meter to check for presence of voltage (0-480VAC), hands-on work knowledge and troubleshooting of 3 phase motors, motor control circuits, contactors, VFDs, servos, etc..., and working experience with electronics, electrical/electronic training, basic computer repair
  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirement.Preferred Qualifications
    • Knowledge of shop mathematics, applied mechanics, industrial machinery, plant and equipment.
    • Able to use personal computer and electronic diagnostic equipment.
