About this role: Wells Fargo Third Party Operations Affiliates (TPOA) group within the Third Party Center of Excellence (TPCOE) in the front line is currently seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant who will be accountable for execution of the technology aspects of applicable risk programs. This includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations with a strong focus on timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues. A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while having ability to make timely and difficult decisions. Reporting to the TPOA Functional Manager, this role will be a key contributor to the strategy for how affiliate relationships are managed across the Enterprise.This individual will have the ability to access, aggregate, interpret, and present complex data. The role requires technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and validating solutions to enable enterprise risk programs and processes in TPOA in partnership with process owners and the technology organization. Candidate must be a self-starter who is execution-oriented with demonstrated experience in a rapidly changing, matrixed environment. A successful candidate in this role will leverage their risk management and oversight experience to promote a strong third party (affiliate) risk culture including a balanced approach working in cooperation and consultation with TPOA business owners and key partners. Candidate will be a proven self-starter with the capability of driving results independently and in a team setting. They will communicate professionally and effectively with various levels within the organization, providing relevant data to tell a story and drive business results. In addition a successful candidate will be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple work efforts, prioritizing effectively across competing tasks and deliverables. In this role, you will:

  • Define, design, and implement requirements for sourcing and aggregation of complex data across multiple functions and source systems by working with system owners and key stakeholders and perform required analysis to create risk segmentation and ongoing monitoring of affiliate relationships.
  • Assist in the development of senior management information reporting, and materials for key stakeholders (e.g. regulators, Audit, etc.) as needed.
  • Support efforts to operationalize and sustain concepts and requirements of the Risk Management Framework throughout Third Party Operations.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology organization by planning, conducting, and directing the requirements analysis and design of future state technology solutions to automate enterprise-wide program based on data and target operating model needs.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications, US:
    • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
      • Proven ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions to drive and document the requirements around technical processes and reporting with both technical and business partners
      • Ability to manage complex data collection and analysis activities including conducting extensive source-to-target mapping exercises, documenting data lineage, managing data dictionaries
      • Ability to read, interpret, and write basic SQL scripts; comfortable with relational database concepts
      • Familiarity with formal project and change management processes, particularly Agile and similar methodologies
      • Extensive experience with Product Management, Business Analysis, BI tools (Tableau or similar tools); data architecture and modeling; data access and consumption tools
      • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
      • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
      • Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility in meeting evolving requirements and deadlines as the program is still in the development phase
      • Ability to work cohesively and collaborate with data and source system owners throughout the organization
      • Understanding of third party relationships management, particularly affiliate relationships
      • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, prioritization, collaboration, and adaptability are important
