wherever possible.Position Summary The Sr. Analyst role is a
critical component of Energizer's business strategy. The role
reports to the Sr Manager of Analytics. This person will work with
a team of high caliber analytics, data science, and business
analyst professionals within the Information Technology team as
well as across the broader organization. This role will combine a
subject-matter expert knowledge of techniques in advanced analytics
and data science with solid business acumen to unlock value within
the ecosystem of Energizer. The Sr. Analyst will also play a role
where s/he develops and applies descriptive and contextual
analytics products such as dashboards, scorecards, and
visualizations. Combining deep experience in business analytics,
s/he will lead the team in identifying new and existing analytics
problems that can be solved by simple statistical analysis, data
storytelling, and data design methods. This person will validate,
interpret, and create reports for senior management, departmental
heads, and relevant stakeholders. The Sr. Analyst will lead the
development of analytical methods with a view of driving and
enhancing data systems and streamlining business processes. In this
capacity, s/he will strive to improve the quality of analytics
solutions on a consistent basis, leading the creation of advanced
analytics techniques (e.g., regressions, clustering, and machine
learning-based consumer insights) for priority business use cases.
Accountabilities 60% - Reporting, Analytics, and Data Science: Key
member of a team that develops and supports Energizer's analytics
suite of reports, dashboards, and data science applications. 20% -
Program Management: Acts as a cross-functional strategic partner in
aligning program resources and priorities. Translates data and
analytics needs from business partners into executable programs and
ensures successful implementation. 20% - Communication: Develops
and presents to multiple levels of departmental leadership,
cross-functional groups, peers, and functional groups of associates
in support of special projects and strategic initiatives. Required
Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems,
Computer Science, or related field Preferred Skills and Experience
5 years of relevant experience and proven track record in deploying
and scaling analytical techniques to drive business value (customer
experience, supply chain, marketing, pricing, etc.) 3 years of data
visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, etc.)
The candidate will also have had a proven and successful experience
in the execution of data analytics initiatives, leading to the
development of useful insights and the improvement of a business's
performance and driving top-line growth. Demonstrated success
engaging with business partners for advanced analytics and working
with a wide range of data in order to predict financial metrics for
a business and drive business value HR, Supply Chain, Category
Analytics, and/or Marketing experience, including familiarity with
web, social, and mobile marketing is desirable. Excellent
communication skills in both written and verbal form. The position
is designed to interact with numerous departments aiding them in
the proper application of data, leading to functional improvement.
Will require the skill to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Must demonstrate a passion for research and data and be highly
skilled in performing quantitative analyses on various business
functions, for example, on consumer behavior and trends. The
candidate must also be highly skilled in the use of analytics
technology, being able to draw complex queries that ultimately lead
to improvements in business performance. Will also be proficient
with machine learning techniques, and when to use them. Will be
self-motivated, proactive, taking initiative and have exceptional
problem-solving skills. Must work comfortably in a cross-functional
setting and with business partners. Take accountability for the
business's performance and have an ability to remain calm and
composed under stress and uncertainty, inspiring the same in
her/his team. Must also have a natural ability to make strong,
lasting, and meaningful connection with others, which will aid in
the execution of duties in this highly collaborative role.
Demonstrated experience with SQL Server, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, HANA DB
Demonstrated experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Bricks,
Python Working Relationships & EnvironmentWorking Relationships
Reports to Sr Manager of Analytics, key stakeholders will include
key business partners. Work Environment Occasional travel may be
