(ANCC).Role PurposeProvides Maintenance and Engineering services.
Provides the necessary skill and craft for operation and
maintenance of HVAC and physical plant systems in a manner to
ensure safe operation, optimum performance and maximum
efficiency.Responsibilities
- Keeps equipment clean and operational. - Handles and disposes
of hazardous and or infectious waste properly and practices
infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of all
refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning
equipment.
- Performs troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and systems
as assigned.
- Maintains the hospital's building automation system and
responds to system alarms, making necessary changes to controls and
notifies management.
- Responds to work order requests and emergencies.
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The
ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe
manner is an essential function of this job.Minimum Requirements
