We seek an IT Systems Analyst with strong technical aptitude who is
highly knowledgeable in the following software stack: Microsoft
Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and Launch Darkly. This role requires a
diverse background: proven problem-solving skills, business acumen
and excellent collaboration/interpersonal skills. This is a
fast-paced, high performing team environment where you must be very
comfortable working closely with other IT team members, outside IT
resources and key stakeholders across IT.
You will be responsible for supporting solutions in the in the
software delivery toolset, specifically Azure DevOps, SonarQube,
and Launch Darkly. You will ensure that governance goals are
accomplished and in line with business objectives by training and
supporting software delivery squads. You will be well-versed in all
systems supported by the department. You will be responsible for
the production support of one or more of the most complex systems
working with developers to ensure the most efficient systems within
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Researches and analyzes information and business workflows to
propose efficient solutions. Evaluate complex problems and issues
quickly and accurately to recommend or take the appropriate
actions. Provide robust agile solutions that drive efficiencies
company-wide based on business need. Performs functional and
integrated testing based on user workflows.
Solution Development and User Training: Work cross-functionally
with internal and external technical resources to ensure complete,
thorough, end-to-end solutions. Solid knowledge of software
development lifecycle able to manage solutions through entire
software delivery cycle from design through development, testing,
and deployment including release and change management. Create
documentation and provide training to stakeholders.
Facilitate prototyping and proof-of-concept activities, and
technical walk-throughs. Work with senior IT leaders to understand
impact of proposed initiatives to processes, end-users and
technology. Participate in discussions with technical architecture
in devising cross-application solutions for addressing
requirements. Work with application architects in defining the
technical approach options - including application, database,
hardware and interface approach - in an array of legacy,
client-server and web-based technologies. Work with business groups
(e.g. operations) to assess the if impact of initiatives to
existing processes and organizational needs.
What You'll Bring To The Team...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Business Administration or related field or the equivalent through
a combination of education and related work experience.
Nine years overall IT experience, including experience with a
diverse set of platforms and technologies, as well as, experience
with structured methods and the software development life
Seven years of progressive business experience including
demonstrated experience in business planning, process
reengineering, business process analysis, and requirements
Demonstrated research, analytical, critical thinking,
decision-making, consulting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including
experience with executive reporting for senior IT and business
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, presentation skills
and facilitation skills including the ability to deal with all
levels of management and external vendors.
Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities and ability
to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced
Ability to mentor and coach others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with little formal
supervision or guidance.
Experience using software applications such as Azure DevOps,
SonarQube, and Microsoft Office applications.
It would be even better if you also had...
MBA or other post-secondary education.
Big 5 or major consulting firm experience.
Formal facilitation training.
