Wage Rate: $20.50/hourly About This Position:GENERAL PURPOSE OF
THE JOB: Review of financial transactions to ensure compliance with
federal law and submission of reports to the United States
Department of Treasury as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
- Extract financial transaction data for transactions of
- Conduct due diligence on all transactions of interest.
- Act as ongoing liaison with customers to effectively ensure
that investigations are completed.
- Present investigative findings to members of the company
Anti-Money Laundering Compliance management team.
- Complete all company Suspicious Activity Reports for review and
submission to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
- Ad hoc reporting and other tasks as requested by
managementSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position currently has
no supervisory responsibilities.What You'll Need:Job
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A. A.) or one to
two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios,
and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret
an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or
diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word,
and Outlook. Specifically pertaining to Microsoft Excel,
proficiency in filtering, sorting, and pivot table creation and
analysis. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent
oral and written communication skills. Solid organizational
abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the
employee will often be required to sit, talk and hear. The employee
will occasionally be required to stand, walk, use hands, reach,
climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. There are no
special vision requirements.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the
