Job Summary: Promotes the World Wide Technology Core Values and Corporate Goals Supply Chain and Inventory management: * Selects, develops, motivates, and appraises a staff qualified to attain the objectives of the position, using WWT job performance matrix * Oversees the inventory levels of a program or multiple programs, using Demand Planning Tools, to meet corporate and customer statement of work objectives * Manages, mitigates and reports aged inventory to internal and external customers. * Services internal and external customer escalation issues, providing proactive solutions/mitigation action plans. Delivers Operational Excellence through: * Develops and drives execution to KPI's designated for program and customer measurements. * Drives cross functional teams though continuous improvement initiatives in current and future business opportunities. * Evaluates existing processes and design new ones when needed to drive efficiency within the Operations. * Develops business strategies for new supply chain planning programs. Working closely with customer, program manager and local resources. Provides internal and external collaboration: * Engaged and builds ongoing collaborative relationship with customers, program management, logistics and quality on local and global scale. * Provides evaluation feedback and strategy on vendor performance in the areas of continuity of supply, service and competitive pricing. * Leads operational reviews with customer, focusing on key materials performance indicators and initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsibilities of this job consist of managing resources, governance on inventory levels and customer escalations for the planning organization, including: * Working Manager, manages planning resources or supervisors through IML * Executes leadership activities (1:1, Employee Reviews, etc.) * Leads recruiting and retention best practices within team * Promotes trust and HPT through coaching, appreciation and recognition * Creates policy, process , standards and governance * Creates and drives execution of planning goals, objectives and Initiatives * Creates KPI's based on departments responsibilities * Seeks out corrective actions for improving service * Identified scaling oppurtunities within team * Manages budgeting /planning for cost center * Abe to lead job functions within team and across teams * Provides tactical oversight for planning strategies and financial positioning. * Fosters Innovative solutions within department * Develops strategy for new program engagement and enablement * Collaborative relationship with program management and cross functional leaders. Skills necessary to be successful in this role include: Core Functional /Technical Skills Forecasting Coaches others to draw reasonable forecasting conclusions based on past and present data and interpretation of the impact of prevailing trends. Resource Planning and Optimization "* Reviews skill and expertise requirements across the department or multiple teams and ensures that enough people are trained or cross-trained to achieve work goals. * Creates contingency resource plans to ensure continuity of work processes in the face of a delay or shortage in financial/material resources. * Recognizes and rewards appropriate resource utilization and creative suggestions to gain efficiency in resource usage." Material Management Develops new strategies and designs to effectively order, ship and manage warehouse materials in order to ensure a consistent flow for production and satisfy demand. Data Analysis Develops advanced or breakthrough insights from the interpretation of data; presents recommendations in a compelling way to support business decisions. Statistics Leverages knowledge of advanced statistical theory to enable others to see strategic problems that impact the business in new ways; actively pursues innovative solutions that align with the organization's tolerance for risk. System Thinking "* Leads collaboration with key stakeholders and contributes subject matter expertise to develop unique solutions to complex issues. * Enables optimum organizational efficiency by taking a whole systems approach and thinking across boundaries to identify which polices/processes should be standardized and which should differ. * Provides guidance when evaluating the impacts of a solution to ensure linkages between structure, people, process and technology." Research Assesses the impact on the environment and the pertinence of the research when reaching conclusions by evaluating validity and reliability and developing new research questions and strategies to expand knowledge. A successful candidate for this role would exhibit the following traits: * Naturally takes the lead in challenging circumstances and provides needed direction even on unpopular issues * Fosters an innovative environment on their team and effectively leverages that innovation to drive value creation * Emphasizes the continued development of direct reports, challenging and enabling them to grow professionally * Effectively distributes workload of team and monitors performance against established objectives and key results * Builds high performing teams with people that are engaged, share a sense of ownership and have a team first mentality QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree required preferably in business or supply chain related field * Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years of related experience. Broad knowledge of planning, purchasing, finance, and/or business administration. * Over 3 years of supervisory experience * Over 3 years' experience in purchasing or materials control position * Proven track record of delivering results through process development and governance oversight * Ability to arrange, retrieve data and ideas using complex mathematics, algorithms and formulas, while developing a streamline system of the information gathered.
