We accomplish this by:o -Building enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful, and objective adviceo -Developing individualized plans for clients to help meet their financial objectiveso -Helping clients build, manage, preserve, and transition their financial resources and wealthWIM serves clients through the following businesses:o -Wells Fargo Private Bank serves high-net-worth individuals and families.o -Wells Fargo Advisors provides investment advice and guidance to clients through more than 13,200 full-service financial advisors and referrals from more than 5,450 licensed bankers.o -Wells Fargo Asset Management brings together a strategic balance of investment capabilities to serve the investment needs of institutions, financial advisors, and individuals worldwide.Through Wells Fargo Private Bank, WIM is also a leading provider of trust, investment, and fiduciary services, including personal trust services and a number of specialized wealth services designed to meet the diverse needs of high-net-worth clients.The FA Directed Portfolio Analysis Group (FADPA) is domiciled within the Wealth Investment Management Investment Solutions Center of Excellence - WIM Investment Risk. - FADPA is responsible for due diligence of investment performance of advisors that have discretion and a fiduciary responsibility. - This group also provides portfolio analytics support for advisors proactively seeking assistance.The Investment Risk Consultant 2 will be responsible for analyzing client investments and providing feedback directly to Financial Advisors (FAs) related to investment portfolios on the FA Directed platform.The employee will collaborate with and support more senior consultants in the group who will be implementing the rationalization and remediation of select client accounts working directly with FAs. - This role may include leveraging sophisticated third party tools and internal reporting to coach advisors on how to improve investment performance relative to the declared benchmark.--- Identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging investment risk. Provides an aggregate view of portfolio risk and serves as a subject matter expert for measuring and managing investment risk. Performs various moderately complex activities related to assessing portfolio risk exposures.--- Designs, develops and/or tests quantitative/ analytic models to help monitor and manage investment risk. Analyzes findings and assesses effectiveness of portfolio asset allocation strategies.--- Consults and provides input into investment processes and governance. Produces daily, monthly, quarterly and annual investment risk reports for Sr. Management.--- Utilizes multiple complex data sources; complies and mines sources to achieve data needs for analyses. Adheres to data management / data governance regulations and policies for data integrity.--- Understands and can explain theory and mathematics behind various models. Supports and implements initiatives with low to moderate risk.Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: investment risk, capital markets, trading, or desk analyst; or a Master s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, accounting, finance, or econometricsDesired Qualifications
    • FINRA registration including Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
    • FINRA registration including Series 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
    • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
    • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
    • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or demonstrated progress toward the designationOther Desired Qualifications--- Experience working with Morningstar Direct and FactSetJob Expectations
      • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
      • Registration for FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65) must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
      • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.
