Associate Quality Assurance Analyst12-Month Contract-to-HireSt. Louis, MOOur Telecommunications Client in the greater St. Louis area is looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Analyst to join their IT organization in support of a new project. As a QA Tester, you will be supporting efforts for our client's enterprise provisioning systems for High Speed Data, Voice (VoIP), and Video products.Qualifications:* 1-3 years' experience in software test engineering* Experience with front end user interface validation and back end validation* Working knowledge or experience with full quality management lifecycle for software application development, test and deployment* Experience troubleshooting UI performance* Experience in functional testing of XML and SQL based clients.* Experience with test plan and test case development, testing of software functionality, product installation, performance, and load.* Experience with both Component level testing as well as end to end application testing.* Experience in Unix or SQL scripting in support of test execution* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse users and stakeholders across disciplines including remote and offshore teamsResponsibilities:* Responsible for front end user interface validation and back end validation* Responsible for component level testing as well as end to end application testing* Develop, document, and communicate test plan and strategy* Ensure Test Case reviews with stakeholders are being held as appropriate.* Conduct Defect Triage meetings as appropriate.* Ensure completion of all deliverables within schedule, budget and quality constraints.* Conduct Root Cause Analysis and identify and implement process improvements.* Assess quality and test process maturity level and assist in defining strategy to implement best practicesABOUT EIGHT ELEVEN:At Eight Eleven, our business is people.
