Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring
client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective

planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private
banking, estate planning strategies, trust, and both individual and
Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA) Investment Products Group manages the
suite of products and services offered to our clients. In addition,
this group collaborates with other business groups to integrate
research, investment strategy, and discretionary portfolio
management with the products. The Investment Products Group
includes traditional investment products, advisory products, and
The Products Governance and Controls team works with managers
throughout Investment Products to provide thought leadership and a
governance framework to manage risk and implement processes that
ensure compliance with industry rules and regulations. In addition,
Product Governance and Controls manages the product approval
process, including serving as primary liaison with Wells Fargo
enterprise risk groups to ensure compliance with the WFC New
Business Initiatives Policy.
The New Operational Risk Consultant will report to the Director of
Product Governance and Controls and will be responsible for
consulting with managers and team members to complete business
initiative assessments as required by the New Business Initiatives
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
--- Coordinate the product approval process for Wells Fargo
--- Work with stakeholders throughout WFA, WIM, and Wells Fargo
Corp enterprise groups to complete risk assessments for new product
implementation and product modifications.
--- Serve as Secretary of the WFA Product and New Business
--- Maintain the WFA Product Inventory.
--- Contribute to reporting on group activities.
--- Participate on risk and controls related projects as needed.
--- 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk
management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the
management of a process or business with accountability for
compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+
years of IT systems security, business process management or
financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must
include direct experience in compliance, operational risk
management, or a combination of both

--- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and

--- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing
--- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
--- FINRA registration including Series 24 (or FINRA recognized

--- A? BS/BA degree or higher in business administration,
economics, accounting, finance, or other business related field
--- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
