Job Description:

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is looking for a Registered Dietitian at our skilled nursing facility, Mary, Queen and Mother Center. This position oversee daily operations of dining services to ensure cleanliness, efficiency of meal delivery, resident customer service, employee morale, coaching and mentoring of Dietary Manager, Assistant Dietitian's and staff.*Duties & Responsibilities** Plans and maintains registration and licensure certification requirements. Assist the dietary staff in the development and use of departmental policies, procedures, equipment, supplies.* Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures.* Make written oral reports/ recommendations to the Administrator as necessary/ required concerning the operation of the Dietary Dept.* Interview residents or family members, as necessary, to obtain diet history.* Write waivers of liability, present them to family and or resident as applicable, witness their signature and ensure that waiver is documented in the medical record and honored by Dietary Department.* Assist in monitoring food service production to assure that meals are prepared on time and according to standardized recipes.* Monitors monthly weights for accuracy, enters weights into Matrix and assesses significant weight changes and documents in Matrix the cause of the significant weight change each month and develops nutrition plan as indicated to meet new nutrition goals for those residents.* Audit diet orders monthly.* Prepare annual budget and assist other department heads with their budgets when delegated to do so.* Prepare spreadsheets for annual inventory.* Interviews, hires and trains all professional staff.* Performs other duties as assigned.*Experience & Education** Must have a BS in nutrition.* Must be an RD, LD with 5 years of experience.CRSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,445.53 - $64,730.11 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* Public HealthSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Registered Dietitian: 3 years (Required)* Nursing Home Dietary: 3 years (Required)Ability to Commute:* St. Louis, MO 63119 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* St. Louis, MO 63119: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
