Job SummaryThe Performance Improvement Coordinator is a vital member of the Trauma program at SSM Health. Under the guidance of the Trauma Program Manager, this role identifies performance issues, ensures timely evaluation, assists in developing action plans, and implements those plans to improve the care of trauma patients.Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to enhance trauma patient care and document issues into the trauma registry.
• Develop and maintain performance improvement plans, evaluating and validating performance issues and concerns.
• Collaborate with various disciplines and departments to develop action plans for identified issues.
• Participate in trauma registry data collection and validation, and assist in implementing action plans and monitoring their effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with professional development and educational activities to advance skills and knowledge in trauma care and data information systems.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing.
  • Three years' registered nurse experience in trauma critical care or emergency nursing.
