opportunities for Electronic System Design & Analysis Engineers to
join the F/A-18 Electrical Platforms Systems Team located in St.
Louis, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing
Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization supporting
the 777X Commercial Program.The engineer will be supporting the
electrical design and certification of multiple electronic
subsystems on the 777X Commercial Program.Position
Responsibilities:
- Leads work with customers to develop and document complex
electronic and electrical system requirements for the program.
- Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate
requirements into system architecture, hardware and interface
specifications.
- Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet
operational and functional requirements.
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and
compliance with Boeing/FAA requirements.
- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of
fielded hardware and software over the entire product
lifecycle.
- Researches technology advances for potential application to
company business needs.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad
range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead
Electronic System Design & Analysis Engineers.This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position
requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which
the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or
final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic
Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, including system
architecture, requirements and interface development and
allocation, verification, validation, certification/qualification,
and production.
- 5+ years of experience developing and/or integrating electronic
systems or subsystems
- 5+ years of experience implementing processes and standards
compliant with airplane certification standards and/or FAA
certification standards
- 5+ years of experience preparing and coordinating technical
documentation (engineering drawings, specifications, statements of
work)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with FAA Title 14, Chapter I, Subchapter
C, Part 25 Regulations and Certification processes.
- 5+ years of experience managing Software and Hardware
requirements in DOORS.
- 5+ years of experience integrating hardware and software
components into a functional system design.
- 5+ years of experience working to derive and allocate
requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show
traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience with electronic/electrical systems or
subsystems and components including the requirements, operating
principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces.
- 5+ years of experience with verification, validation,
certification and qualification processes and procedures, including
knowledge of governing regulations and compliance
requirements.Typical Education/Experience: -Experienced Level
3:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced
technical education from an accredited course of study in
engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
(e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and
experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In
the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not
required, accreditation standard.Lead Level 4:Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education from an
accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related
work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the
USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
