Summary
University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is currently looking for an engaging and highly collaborative Executive Coordinator to provide administrative support for key student facing initiatives, the Campus Life division, and to the Vice President of Campus Life/Chief Diversity Officer.

In this role you will perform a variety of duties including ownership of key initiatives, managing event coordination, developing communications, conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, scheduling meetings and preparing correspondence to ensure systems of communication among students, team members and campus stakeholders are efficient and effective.

You will get to:

  • Manage processes, design, and compose campus wide student communications
  • Support and advocate for students through leadership and participation in department initiatives including student health insurance, student travel, student code/handbook/policy updates, and Extras for Everyone Closet
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Vice President of Campus Life and Chief Diversity Officer; assisting with Campus Life division projects, conducting research, preparing reports, managing email requests, calendar appointments, meeting materials and presentations
  • Serve on departmental and other campus-wide committees as needed
  • As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities may be expected in order to support the mission and purpose of the University

    Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree (preferred) or minimum of 5 years' administrative support experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience working with students, preferably in higher education
  • Project management: ensuring successful delivery to achieve clearly stated goals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with database management (Access, SQL, etc.) and Power BI preferred.
  • Experience with graphic and publishing software preferred.
  • Awareness/experience with relevant technology (Symplicity, Jenzebar, Handshake) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to plan and execute department and small group programming and events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a wide range of constituents.
  • Ability to create and support an environment that is welcoming, accessible, inclusive, equitable, and free from harassment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act ethically, including promoting ethical standards of employment and the profession.
