seeking a highly motivated, Open Mission Systems (OMS) architect
for the F/A-18 and EA-18 Mission Systems team located in Berkeley,
Missouri.Enable the F/A-18 and EA-18 Mission Systems organization
to initially implement the OMS architecture on a variety of new
programs that have been awarded from the US Navy. - This will
enable the organization to develop Mission Systems applications and
utilize 3rd party applications provided by the US Navy and other
industry companies. - - This work is critical to enable the team to
advance F/A-18 and EA-18 platforms and has strong potential to
advance future fighter aircraft programs. - -As an architect, you
will participate on the development of several programs and provide
technical leadership to teams performing the development. - Your
work will span across the entire development, fielding and
operational lifecycle. - - - -Position Responsibilities
- Open Mission Systems (OMS) implementation across multiple
F/A-18 and EA-18 contracts that are developing advanced
capabilities for the warfighters.
- Works with external customers and internal stakeholders to plan
and execute complex hardware-software integration efforts in a
fast-paced agile environment.
- Identifies, collects, analyzes, and organizes technical
execution/resource data (metrics) to manage the program.
- Responsible for communication across teams and across levels of
technical leadership.
- Analyzes customer requests with consideration for contractual
and technical impacts, and work with Integration to translate them
into program and system requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure compliance with
requirements.
- Provides support and solves problems concerning fielded
hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Must be proactive in understanding the big picture and the
inter-relationships between positions and activities of the F/A-18
and EA-18 organization.
- Must be proactive in understanding the product systems and
apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
with first time quality.
- Technical leadership and guiding on-the-job training for junior
engineersOur teams are currently hiring for a broad range of
experience levels including; Lead and Senior Open Mission Systems
ArchitectThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The
selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the
listed location options.This position requires an active U.S.
Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S.
Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is
considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)
- Bachelor of science (or greater) from an accredited course of
study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics,
electrical engineering, chemistry or other technical degree
- 5+ years of experience in developing or integrating Mission
Systems for military aircraft
- Experience leading or managing projects and teamsPreferred
Qualifications
- 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Completed security clearance background investigation within
the past 5 years
- Experience with an OMS implementation
- Experience with Systems architecture
- Experience with System and Subsystem levels of requirements
generation
- Experience of Multi-Level Security (MLS) implementation
- Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration and coordination skillsTypical Education &
Experience:Level 4 (Lead): Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced technical education from an accredited course of
study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics,
electrical engineering, chemistry or other technical degree (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or
an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
(e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related
work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.Level 5 (Senior):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical
education from an accredited course of study in engineering,
computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering,
chemistry or other technical degree (e.g. Bachelor) and typically
14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9
years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work
experience).In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred,
although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation

$119,850 - $162,150Summary pay range (Level 5 Senior): $143,650-
