The -Associate Collections Representative -is responsible for insurance premium collections. Positions in this function contact customers to determine reason for payment delinquency, negotiate and advise on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate action to recover overdue payments. Handling of unresolved inquiries/issues, and responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and managing organization policies on collection practices. May work with outside legal counsel and/or outside agencies in more complex collection cases.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 1145 CORPORATE LAKE ]DRIVE ST. LOUIS, MO 63132.
We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 7am to 3:30pm CST, Monday - Friday. -Training will be conducted onsite.
Primary Responsibilities:

Sorting/Processing Mail
Preparation for self-pay posting - electronic and manual posting
Utilize US banking and insurance portals
Using multiple systems, a day at the same time
Word, Outlook, Microsoft tools, EPIC system
Retrieve bank deposit details from system daily and work with the Cash Reconciliation and Payment Posting departments to collaborate and distribute assignments daily. Supporting 3 regions (St. Louis, Southern Illinois, Jefferson City).

High school diploma / GED (or higher)
6+ months exposure to the acquiring and/or managing of data to support a project
1+ years of collection revenue cycle experience
1+ years of customer service experience
Basic Proficiency with Windows PC applications and Microsoft Office
Reside in Missouri - must be within drivable distance to office - 1145 CORPORATE LAKE DRIVE ST. LOUIS 63132

  • Ability to work 5 days onsite per week

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Background in a medical/healthcare setting
    Direct healthcare data collection experience
    EPIC experience or EPIC revenue cycle experience
  • Microsoft experience, specifically Teams, Word, Excel
    Insurance EOB knowledge
