Towing Services Foreman View all jobs (index.cfm) Apply Department: Streets - Auto Towing and Storage Salary + Minimum: $41,002.00 + Maximum: $58,994.00 Position Specifications Incumbents in this position supervise towing field operations and personnel. Duties include receiving towing orders, dispatching operators and responding to claims and accidents. For an additional description of this position, please refer to the classification specification for Towing Services Foreman Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in the operation of a tow truck in a large towing service operation. Qualifying experience must be within the last five years. OR an equivalent combination of training and experience. License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) at time of filing Employment Application. Your employment experience and training will be used to determine whether you meet the entrance requirements for this position and to compute your experience and training evaluation. The Director of Personnel may, in their discretion, accept alternate documentation. CITY RESIDENTS PREFERENCE POINTS: City residents who pass an examination for a position in the classified service and do not receive any other preference will receive a five (5) point preference on a scale of 100 points on the exam. An additional one (1) point shall be added to the passing score of City residents who receive any other preference on a scale of 100 points. City residents must have resided in the City for at least one (1) year at the time of filing their application to be eligible for the preference points.
