• Looking for someone that can perform all the support functions for the lab:
• Reagent ordering, receiving, stocking, waste handling, buffer prep, equipment calibration/cleaning,
• Additional time will be spent running routine assays such as pH, conductivity, titrations, density calculations.The proper candidate would possess the following skills, or experiences:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Reagent management
  • Ordering materials
  • Reading/Interpreting Safety Data Sheets
  • Proper chemical handling
  • Basic scientific calculations such as Molarity, dilution schemesPurpose Of The Position
    • Evaluate products according to complete support functions to support others in the lab and perform basic lab testing by established protocols.
    • Essential Job Functions:
    • Perform support functions such as reagent prep, stocking supplies, cleaning of equipment/lab, and ordering required supplies, maintain equipment, and waste disposal.
    • Perform some routine assays based upon robust procedures.
    • Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations.
    • Ensure quality throughout the process.
    • Provide complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines.
    • Perform and interpret routine analytical assays of products and intermediates according to well established protocols.
    • Complete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines.
    • Accurately perform procedures independently with technical support as needed.
    • Communicate the status of operations and bring deviations to the attention of supervisor.
    • Perform routine troubleshooting with assistance from lab subject matter experts.
    • Participate in process improvements under the guidance of a Supervisor or subject matter experts.
