Description:The Civil Designer will execute projects for the St. Louis area location, the headquarters for a multi-office, multi-discipline engineering firm. Our Designer performs detailed drafting and support activities related to the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and other documents for engineering projects within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The Designer has a working knowledge in site development projects and will report to the Division Manager. Participate in the drafting and production of design documents. AutoCAD / with a focus on civil engineering design. Experience should include site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design projects. Prepare project documents in accordance with established client and/or Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Standards.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEAssociates degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school At least 2 years of civil site design or drafting / land development or a high school diploma and at least 4 years civil site design / land development experience.Experience in site development/design, stormwater, and drainage design for commercial, healthcare, education, or industrial construction projects. Proficient with Civil 3D or similar civil site design/land development softwareExperience in Utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.)Ability to read and interpret plans, sketches, and specifications.
