Description: SummaryAs an Enterprise Data Architect, you will
have an opportunity to be part of implementing the enterprise-wide
MDM architecture solution, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
This position requires significant amount of collaboration across
all business areas within Brook & Whittle and will be essential to
building out an enterprise-wide sustainable and scalable MDM
program.The Enterprise Data Architect, is a technical/functional
role with hands-on leadership experience in designing and
implementing a Master Data Management solution. This includes, Data
integration/migration/transformation (ETL/ELT) around all
applications with responsibility for ensuring data policies and
standards turn into practice within the organization. This role
designs, develops, implements, and supports MDM data models,
workflows, UI components and the overall MDM framework for the
Enterprise.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:-- Define Master Data
Management (MDM) architecture and business processes-- Responsible
for implementing Data modeling & Configuration (Entities,
Attributes, Relationships), Match and Merge rules, JSON framework
and any other customizations using industry standard MDM tools--
Work closely with business analysts to develop to-be business
process based on industry standard and best practices-- Lead
project team members through all activities required to
successfully deliver a MDM solution -- Lead requirements gathering
architecture for MDM initiatives and high-level design workshops--
Define technical specifications for workflows and business rules--
Prepare detailed design documents for data migration and MDM
solution-- Configure, build and unit test MDM components, including
data structures, roles, workflows, and portals-- Responsible for
defining overall master data strategy for a portfolio of programs--
Lead offshore teams to structure and solve ambiguous and business
challenges-- Build, test and support integration, system testing
and test data migration components-- Support and guide user
acceptance testing-- Train and mentor MDM implementation activities
and best practicesRequirements: Competencies: -- 8+ years of work
experience implementing Master Data Management, Data Stewardship,
Data governance & business Processes-- 5+ Years of support and
implementation experience on MDM tools, Java and/or JavaScript,
data and database design, Sybase, SQL, XML, CSS, HTML, JSON, XSLT,
extension API and Web services (SOAP/REST)-- 3+ year(s) experience
leading and delivering complex technology engagements with
resources in multiple locations-- Experience in implementation of a
DAM solution and understanding of middleware technologies (Boomi,
.net applications, REST based API's) will be an added advantage--
Experience in data integration with salesforce and AWS architecture
(SQS queues, S3 Buckets)-- Experience in ITSM tools such as Jira
and Fresh service-- Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools--
Strong presentation and influencing skills-- Excellent verbal and
written communications skills Flexibility and willingness to travel
to various plants as requiredSupervisory Responsibility -- Will be
leading contractors at onsite and offshore locations assigned to
drive and establish MDM and other data governance initiatives.Work
