Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role. Previous experience with medication assistance preferred.Order, store and assist with medications according to community policy and procedure and current physician ordersMaintains and documents in the Medication Assistance RecordProvide resident assistance with daily activities in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or bothDocument care given and daily notes adhering to community policies and proceduresComplete Incident Report form as per protocol for any unusual occurrenceMaintain current resident record for each resident including but not limited to, obtaining current physician orders, clarifying orders, alert, and monthly chartingRequirements:Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalentIf under the age of 18 must provide proper work authorization (if applicable) Have to be 18Insulin certifiedCompletes all state educational requirements pertaining to medication administration Proof of certificationObtain and maintain First Aid certification, Heimlich Maneuver training; facilitated by Spectrum Retirement CommunitiesMust be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with our company policy and state mandatesA big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our ResidentsSpectrum Retirement Communities, LLC and its affiliated companies are Equal Employment Opportunity employers.
