We are currently seeking Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers (Levels 2-4) to support the design and analysis of various systems which include environmental and thermal control systems, hydraulics, fuel, landing gear, mechanisms, support equipment, and ordnance. These positions are located in the St. Louis region and support current and emerging aircraft and weapons programs across the Bombers and Fighters, Phantom Works, Autonomous Systems, Missiles and Weapons, and Boeing Global Services businesses. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Mechanical Systems Engineers. Position Responsibilities: Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers. Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations. Supports team in performing spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems. Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems. Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts. Works under supervision. --- --- These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start may be required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 2 years relevant mechanical systems engineering experience. 1 years of experience using industry CAD systems (e.g. PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA, AUTOCAD) and familiarity with reading 2-D drawings. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Platform systems experience in the design and/or analysis of environmental and thermal control systems, hydraulics, fuel, landing gear, mechanisms, support equipment, and ordnance. Typical Education/Experience: Associate (Level 2) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Experienced (Level 3) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Lead (Level 4) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years' related work experience, Master7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
