Job Description: Job Responsibilities Responsible for setting the vision of the learning journey for foundational cultural and leadership training that addresses learning needs for all Barry-Wehmiller team members Using best in class and innovative approaches, design, deploy and manage cultural and leadership development training and experiences Collaborate closely with senior leaders and key business partners to conduct needs analysis of gaps and translate business goals and objectives into effective, scalable training programs Create learning objectives, content, flow, and engagement activities that create an environment conducive to effective learning Work within the Learning team to translate design ideas into development and deployment of training, as needed Develop and implement measurement strategies/metrics to assess impact of learning experiences Provide a well-rounded usage of ILT and virtual design and development mediums Partner with key leaders to consistently make recommendations that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of learning programs Train, coach and mentor internal/external partners in the development of facilitation skills Provide facilitation of virtual and in-person learning experiences to a diverse, global audience, including the ability to: Display solid knowledge of content and incorporate a wide range of effective facilitation approaches to promote reflection, application, synthesis and transference of content and skills to all learners Present ideas clearly and gain agreement/group consensus to all levels of leadership across the organization Observe dynamics when working with groups and raise relevant issues for discussions: ensure participation and involvement of all team members; adapt own behavior to meet individual learning needs and the needs of the whole group; ensure issues are pursued until resolved Connect with learners when speaking and hold their attention: speak clearly and concisely; communicate without jargon; use audiovisual aids appropriately; respond appropriately to challenging questions Establish a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and candid disclosure Adjust in the moment when situations go off track, including staying mindful of timing Stay current with instructional design techniques, technology and facilitation Select and manage external facilitators and/or vendors to deliver learning content, if needed Contribute to strategic projects related to People Development, as needed Requirements: Ability to create innovative experiences to drive cultural and leadership practices to the global organization Demonstrate a people-centric orientation, care for others, and value the contributions of a diverse team Maintain solid understanding in the leadership and learning disciplines and best practices Ability to communicate effectively with the highest levels of senior leadership Design and execute project plans, integrate and align across functions, and deliver on commitments with agility Demonstrate a sense of urgency, with an ability to work quickly and maintain a high attention to detail Adapt to changing demands, ambiguity, or situational complexity with high decision quality Regularly identify opportunities for continuous improvement Demonstrate courage in influencing upward and resilience in setbacks Set direction and inspires action Ability to work independently and in collaboration to achieve goals Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and potentially global) Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in cultural training, Leadership Development, learning design and deployment and facilitation preferred Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Training and Development or Educational Leadership a plus CPLP certification a plus #LI-LF1 At Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
