Job DescriptionPeople's Health Centers (PHC), through its mission, provides comprehensive primary healthcare, such as pediatrics, internal medicine, OB/GYN, dental, mammography, behavioral health, pharmacy, WIC, radiology, podiatry and laboratory services, to meet the health needs of the entire community. PHC provides quality health care and social services to thousands of uninsured and medically underserved people in the St. Louis community.People's Health Centers also offers an open access clinic (no appointment necessary), client centered cluster visits, community health education, nursing, mobile van outreach, school-linked services and prevention health services.Summary:Performs a variety of tasks including ordering liaison, issuing supplies, maintaining inventory and compiling stock records Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Works with department heads to coordinate requisitioning, ordering and distribution of materials and supplies. Purchasing contact for ordering for all lines of business: PCAC, Hopewell and BJK. Controls requisitioning and purchase ordering process to ensure inventory levels of supplies are in keeping with usage. Ensure that orders are correctly input into concur and providing access to those in need. Tracking goods and services until they have been received and delivered to the appropriate department Maintain inventory by recording items received and recording department requisitions on a daily basis with end of week inventory report of medical supplies to supervisor. Compares computer balances with monthly checks of physical inventory and making adjustments in inventory balances. Monthly report on supply usage and need to Manager. Keeping up with expired products and reminding purchasing managers of such and the need for re-order. Maintain log of SDS sheets according to OSHA Standards. Place order for business cards and distribute in a timely mannerQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent with one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least an Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
