UX Strategist - USDC Senior Solution Specialist
You are the voice of the people. In all your interactions - with
clients, project managers, designers, engineers, and more - you'll
advocate for what users want, need, and expect from the products we

about what's happening in the interactive space. Your UX design
skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for making the complex
clear.
At Deloitte's US Delivery Center (USDC) we help clients achieve a
higher level of service in operational efficiency and business
value. The USDC leverages scale, talent, and a center delivery
model to provide high quality, cost-effective service with
standardized processes and procedures. Our US Delivery Centers have
been growing since 2014 with significant, continued growth on the
horizon. Our delivery centers are based in Mechanicsburg, PA, Lake
Mary, FL and Gilbert, AZ.
The USDC Digital Customer Team
Our Digital Customer team focuses on designing and implementing
sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures to
bring customer strategies to life. Our ambition is to be the best
in the world at driving customer transformation through the
development of clever commercial strategies, distinctive
experiences, and the application of digital technologies. We help
make the "creative digital consultancy" real and in doing so, make
new markets.
Professionals will serve our clients through the following types of
work:
- Digital Experience - creates engaging omni-channel digital
experiences across web, mobile, AR/VR, voice, gesture, IoT, and
video
- Sales Excellence & Service Excellence - delivers sales and
service strategies and plans, operating model definition, incentive
design and implementation, and operations support for digitally
enabled sales, channel, and customer service capabilities
- Flexible Consumption - the commercial strategy, operating model
definition, and capability delivery of subscription/flexible
consumption business models
- Digital Foundry - a flexible, end-to-end delivery model
emphasizing innovation and disruption
- DigitalMix - an integrated set of platforms to enable business
re-platforming
Role You'll Play:
- Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital
solutions from concept to launch
- Identify and execute the best methods for user research and
testing within client constraints
- Lead research to define key insights, prioritize areas of
opportunity, and envision creative solutions
- Oversee and guide the assessment of existing digital products
for usefulness and usability
- Lead participatory design/user testing sessions and in-context
and ethnographic research; manage client involvement in
research
- Collaboratively develop prototypes for demonstration of
concepts to clients
- Work closely with project managers, design, engineering, and
quality assurance
- Clearly articulate and defend your design decisions in front of
teams and clients
- Work within agile methodology
- Develop and maintain relationships with key client
stakeholders
- Present deliverables to senior clients
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Monitor, and have knowledge of, wider industry UX trends and
relevant technology trends
Required Qualifications - What you bring:
- 5-8 years of design experience in a consulting or in-house
environment
- Experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to
identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
- Experience in UX research, including planning, designing, and
facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings
and articulating results
- Experience in information architecture, screen flows, user
stories, user journeys, and conceptual/detailed wireframing and
prototyping
- Experience with modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure,
Principle, Framer and InVision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Must live a commutable distance to one of the following cities:

Louis, MO; San Diego, CA; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Seattle, WA;
Tallahassee, FL; Tampa, FL; or be willing to relocate to one of the
following USDC locations: Gilbert, AZ; Lake Mary, FL;
Mechanicsburg, PA.
- Travel up to 10% annually
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future
- Must have or be able to obtain a US public trust clearance
Preferred Qualifications- Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience with or understanding of UI/Visual design including
branding, style, color, typography
- Ability to develop high fidelity mocks and prototypes of
complex solutions
- A clear passion and enthusiasm for learning and pursuing your
expertise, constantly challenging the definition of what makes a
good user experience
