We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.Responsibility Summary:

  • Develop and lead best practices and efficient user research processes to enable efficient co-creation and research with key users, the design thinking team, and key stakeholders. Includes streamlining and documenting current processes to reduce complexity and enabling greater efficiency within the design research team. Support the design research team by recruiting users and co-creators for firm wide design thinking engagements, and coaching / enabling teams to best work with users during a design thinking engagement. Supports or contributes to the evolution of our research processes and methodologies in pursuit of new and innovative approaches. Maintain and track research metrics in order to identify and drive continuous improvement and effectiveness of design thinking research efforts.Build and maintain an insights repository to enable efficient sharing of design research, insights, and knowledge transfer within the Insights Network and across the firm. Evaluate current research toolsets and platforms and make recommendations for improvements to expand design research capabilities. Maintain and build upon the current design research playbook to onboard new researchers or educate others outside of the teamCollaborate with other research enablement functions at the firm to understand and align processes, where applicable, and assist research analysts in incorporating client input and feedback into design thinking engagements. Demonstrate agility in ambiguous and complex circumstances to achieve the desired outcome.Exercises critical thinking skills and sound judgment while independently making decisions within the role's range of responsibility, considering the potential options. Gather and evaluate necessary perspective to independently make decisions with some input from higher levels.Adept at managing detailed project tasks, resources, and coordinating the efforts of internal and external parties necessary to see successful project completion including external research or consulting partners.
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of UX, design research, client insights, or marketing research experience.Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.Change agility and comfort operating and flexing in ambiguitySound problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to quickly establish and maintain strong relationships across departments, business areas and vendors.Experience with research tools like Qualtrics, SPSS, UserZoom, UserTesting, etc. Experience utilizing and synthesizing primary and secondary research information sources - a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office applications
