Job DescriptionShift Miller; Flour Milling Company; St Louis, MOUSA Candidates ONLY Company:We are the largest semolina and durum mill in North America, we've recently invested in expanding the capacity and capability of our St. Louis milling complex. Applying our expertise from the origination of the grain to blending and milling, we offer a wide range of products, granulations, packaging formats, and custom blends. Position Summary:A Shift Miller is responsible for the overall supervision of the Mill and employees. This job requires working rotating shifts every 4 weeks with at least every other weekend off. Position Responsibilities:

• Make wheat and product changes as per schedule
• Maintain purifiers in good working order
• Downtime maintenance of air filters, sifters and spout cleaning
• Keep roll stands clean and feed rates monitored
• Monitor finished product moistures and adjust water as needed
• Make very minor repairs to keep the plant running while reporting all problems major and minor promptly to maintenance personnel
• Oversee all operations of the mill/wheat cleaning
• Supervision of employees working on their shift and seeing that safety and sanitation requirements are met
• Good communication to other supervisors in the mill / loadout and assisting when needed Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:
  • BS Milling Science and Management or IAOM Correspondence Course completion OR equivalent experience as Miller in a Flour Mill
  • Previous Flour Mill experience
  • Leadership or Supervisor exp preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly; orally and in written form
