For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers. Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy specific business objectives for advanced testing utilizing virtual assets. Works with technical teams to develop scripting needed to activate virtual test environments, manages execution, optimization and manages changes to statement of work and assesses the impact of those changes, and incorporates changes into statement of work. Negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules. Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics. Plans, identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program. Assigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and services. Directs proposal development to complete the work statement. Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned. Identifies corrective actions to improve project or team performance. Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans. Works under consultative direction.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:Utilizes multiple technology platforms to define/implement scripts to enable execution of test automation frameworks across multiple product linesProvide engineering leadership across multiple skill areasWork with technical teams to develop scripting needed to activate virtual test environmentsNegotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedulesLead project execution to complete the work statementThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryExperience with cloud deployment and environment provisioningExperience with test automation and scripting experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active clearanceExperience using Microsoft azure and kubernetesCloud containerizationTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
