The Pharmacy Technician - In-Patient
II, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and
according to standard procedures, prepares medication orders, and
assists in dispensing & transporting medications. This position
also conducts sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, uses various
automated/electronic systems and maintains the required
documentation & records.
- Maintains quality assurance standards and required
documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness
- Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to
include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and
- Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product
preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory
- Supports various inventory activities, to include
inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and
- Pursues proficiency in compounding sterile preparations
and/or other advanced skills.

The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe
manner is an essential function of this job.
- High School Diploma or GED
- <2 years of experience
- State Bd Pharm Registration
- Pharmacy Tech Certification
