I. Patient care responsibilities (25%)
a. Assists OR room staff in transferring patient to OR table
b. Assists with patient care as directed by the R.N.
c. Assists in positioning the patient and follows procedure for

II. Operational Support Tasks (20%)

III. Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting of the operating
room following infection control practices. (15%)
a. Wipes down all furniture using hospital-approved

dipping mop one time into bucket and changing mop heads after each
room is cleaned.
c. Returns all room furniture and equipment to its proper

room to proper storage area.

IV. Transport and courier duties. (15%)

or regular bed).

of the nurse. Assists in the preparation of the room for surgery,
and with preparation of instruments when needed. Assists in case
cart preparation and supply management.
